A crew loses connectivity for an hour, the driver keeps scanning, and the app has to be honest about what has actually reached the server. Two Android behaviours decide whether it is. Doze mode batches wakeups once the screen has been off and the phone is still, so a job set to run every fifteen minutes can wait hours. And the system kills the process whenever it needs memory, which wipes any sync progress held only in memory.

The build that holds up queues work through WorkManager under a unique work name, so a retry never duplicates a job. It writes progress to disk at every step instead of at the end. And it talks to a server that accepts a resume token rather than demanding the whole batch again. Genuinely urgent work gets an expedited job, everything else accepts batching, and that is what keeps the battery numbers honest.

Appagentix builds offline first Android and iOS apps for field operations in Swift and Kotlin, and the same senior engineers who plan the build write the code.
